The start of something...

First impressions

My first few weeks in the Acting for stage and screen have been a blast, and it seems that the course will only get better as I become a better actor and perform shows.  After reading about what we will be doing as a class throughout the 2 years, I look forward to all the things we will get up to, although I have to admit I am most excited to perform Peter Pan as it really cements the start of my journey of becoming an actor.  However, while the course looks like it will be really fun, it doesn't mean it won't be challenging, such as the globe horror show, which I feel will be the most challenging for me due to the aspect of improvisation and interacting with the audience.  Although it may be difficult, I believe that doing this show so early in the course will really boost my confidence and greatly improve my skills as an actor.

Who am i as an actor at the moment in time?

My journey of becoming an actor really began when I was younger, as in our primary school we did a school performance each year from year 3 to year 6. As I was only young I never went for main parts, only being part of the ensemble cast or a background character, but as I got older I become more fascinated with the idea of becoming an actor so in year 6 I finally auditioned for a main part.  After joining secondary school drama immediately became my favorite lesson which led me to joining a drama group outside of school called Page2Stage where I would go on to play a student in a show called Model Behavior in connections. In year 11 I would complete my GCSE where I performed two duologues from the show Blood Brothers which made me achieve a grade 6.  As of today I am still at Page2Stage where we are working on performing Aladdin with me being one of Aladdin's friends.
