Ben's Marvellous Memories Made Through Acting

 This week we have focused on getting everything blocked and practiced so we are ready for show week.  We have been alternating casts for run throughs, however it has been quite difficult since we didn't have our full set.  During these run throughs, everyone made sure to be focused and tried there best to not use their script if they didn't need it, and learning lines whilst they weren't on stage.  We worked on getting all the tech set up and linking them to cues, as well as talking about what to wear for our costumes.  Because of all these preparations, I feel quite confident for our shows.

  Monday 14th of May Today, since a few people were not in, we decided to work on he final scene after McMurphy's been lobotomised and the patients are talking to each other, discussing what could've happened to him.  We staged it so Chief was sat in the corner, unnoticed by everyone so once McMurphy was brought in he could have a moment with him, before everyone else comes back in the room and question the legitimacy of McMurphy.  After this we timed the music so when Chief lifts the electric box in the air, the music reaches its most triumphant, showing Chiefs success of finally feeling free. Tuesday and Wednesday the 15th and 16th of May Since we had a McMurphy these days, we decided to go through the party scene for the first time, however before this we played a few fun games to get in an excitable mood so our moods fit the mood of the scene.  We chose music to play in the background of the scene lightly until it would get louder when Martini would come in ridin...
